About
Faculty Introduction
I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Indiana University, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics. My teaching interests focus on modern approaches to statistical inference, statistical learning, using statistics for experiential learning, applied linear models, and the classroom integration of computation and reproducible workflows.
I am a co-author of the textbook Statistical Inference via Data Science: A ModernDive into R and the Tidyverse (2nd Edition), which promotes a modern approach to teaching statistics and is used by instructors and programs beyond Indiana University.
In addition to teaching, I am actively involved in curricular development, program-level innovation, and professional development for educators at the national and international level.
